THE ARTIST K J ELVY

I grew up within the serene landscapes of Carmarthenshire.  My artistic voyage took root during my early years when my mother recognised my artistic talents in one of my early drawings. 

Guided by an innate curiosity for creativity, I embraced the realm of art, embarking on a journey that led me to the local Art College in Carmarthen, where I spent four years studying and developing my craft. The pivotal year of 1989 saw me venture into Sculpture and Sculpture Restoration, an exploration that gave me the confidence that allowed me to experiment with a myriad of materials.

Over the years I, K J Elvy, have quietly devoted myself to perfecting my skills, with different materials, in particular, wood, paper and acrylic paint. 

Presently, I enjoy constructing art in a Jigsaw format in my own unique and imaginative way.  This is  a constructive expression between myself and the medium which shows my evolving techniques and dedication.
